Some Residents in our assisted living communities may need extra assistance with the activities of daily living. We offer supportive care and continence management in each of our assisted living communities. Additionally, Camellia Place and Magnolia Place are Specialty Care Assisted Living Facilities, licensed to provide cognitive support for residents with Dementia.

Supportive Care

Assistance with transfers in and out of bed and with ambulation to meals and activities

Complete assistance with bathing and dressing

Assistance with grooming including mouth care, shaving and hair care

Assistance with meals

Continence Management

(in addition to Supportive Care)

Management of continence care such as frequent reminders and toileting assistance  Additional bathing and dressing as needed                                                                                      Daily laundering of  of clothing and linens as needed

Night time monitoring to assure the resident does not remain soiled or wet in the event of an incontinence episode

Cognitive Support

(in addition to Supportive Care and Continence Management)

Continuous monitoring to ensure that the resident does not leave the premises unattended

Management of mild behavior problems such as wandering, pacing, anxiety and paranoia

Management of resident's food intake to assure proper nutrition is received

Support of the resident with validation techniques

Monitoring of resident's activities, premises and belongings
